Gabriel Lada showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Stano Kliment in the 11th minute of the match. Gabriel Mareš fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 14th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rudolf Podracký having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in TATRAN FC's zone, Matej Hurt stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Gabriel Lada came out of the goal and Matej Hurt tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Stanislav Gajdoš hit a great freekick 19 minutes into the match. In the 20th minute, Miloslav Honzík made a precise shot to the right of Gabriel Lada. TATRAN FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. Tatran HLOHOVEC's Rudolf Podracký proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 25th minute of the match, managed to save Tatran HLOHOVEC from getting a goal against them. In the 27th match minute, Tatran HLOHOVEC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Miloslav Honzík to maneuver through the defense. Gabriel Lada took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Stano Kliment, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Miloslav Honzík fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 38th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gabriel Lada having to interfere. In the 41st minute, Tatran HLOHOVEC's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Richard Mikla fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Tatran HLOHOVEC's Matej Hurt got a good chance for a goal in the 44th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a defensive mix-up in Tatran HLOHOVEC's zone, Richard Mikla stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Rudolf Podracký came out of the goal and Richard Mikla tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Matej Hurt to strike the kick off in the second half. If Daniel Hvorecký had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 60th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After a defensive mix-up in Tatran HLOHOVEC's zone, Stanislav Gajdoš stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Rudolf Podracký came out of the goal and Stanislav Gajdoš tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Gabriel Lada made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Stano Kliment in the 67th minute of play. 69 minutes into the match, Tatran HLOHOVEC's goal looked a bit too open when Richard Mikla came free, but Rudolf Podracký reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Stano Kliment came up free with the goalie in the 70th minute, the Tatran HLOHOVEC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Stano Kliment couldn't finish the play. Miloslav Honzík recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 74th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Miloslav Honzík sent away a hard shot on goal in the 81st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Richard Mikla received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 85th minute. Rudolf Podracký tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Daniel Hvorecký came free in the 87th minute and tried to tip the ball over Gabriel Lada, but to the joy of TATRAN FC's supporters the ball went over. In the 92nd minute, Miloslav Honzík got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. TATRAN FC's Stanislav Gajdoš got a good chance for a goal in the 97th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Tatran HLOHOVEC's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
