Gunnar Brændgaard started the match with the kick off. In the 4th minute, Lubáš Dobák got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 6 minutes into the match, FC DNV Bratiskava's goal looked a bit too open when Gunnar Brændgaard came free, but Anıl Ege Sebuktekin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Nils Breitbücher kicked well hit freekick during the 8th minute of the match. Anıl Ege Sebuktekin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gunnar Brændgaard in the 10th minute of the match. FC Stinking Dogs's Alvaro Pesce got a good chance for a goal in the 12th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Karl-Åke Näver fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 20th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Zhou Yuan Feng having to interfere. In the 27th minute Gunnar Brændgaard shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Anıl Ege Sebuktekin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 33 minutes into the match, FC DNV Bratiskava's goal looked a bit too open when Gunnar Brændgaard came free, but Anıl Ege Sebuktekin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Gunnar Brændgaard had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 38th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 45 minutes into the match, FC Stinking Dogs's Alvaro Pesce sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Anıl Ege Sebuktekin narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Anıl Ege Sebuktekin was left in no man's land by his defense there! Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The wind increased when Cyprian Falkiewicz made the kick off in the second half. Sten Häll kicked well hit freekick during the 64th minute of the match. After 67 minutes FC DNV Bratiskava's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Gunnar Brændgaard who took care of the corner kick. The corner led FC Stinking Dogs's Gunnar Brændgaard to fire away a dangerous shot which Anıl Ege Sebuktekin despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. If Gunnar Brændgaard had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 69th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 70th minute, Alvaro Barco hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Anıl Ege Sebuktekin made an important save on a dangerous shot by Gunnar Brændgaard in the 77th minute. 79 minutes into the game, FC Stinking Dogs's Gunnar Brændgaard nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Anıl Ege Sebuktekin made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-4. Gunnar Brændgaard in the 83rdth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Anıl Ege Sebuktekin, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. In the 89th minute, FC DNV Bratiskava's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Gunnar Brændgaard fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. The audience thought a goal was coming when Gunnar Brændgaard got free with Anıl Ege Sebuktekin in the 91st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Anıl Ege Sebuktekin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gunnar Brændgaard in the 93rd minute of play. After a rather tough play, FC Stinking Dogs's Donovan Kepert got a free kick in the 94th minute.
