The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After 5 played minutes FC Štitáre got a freekick which was hit by Rune Aronsson. An unexpectedly hard shot by Carlos Eduardo Dante in the 6th minute of play forced FC Štitáre's goalkeeper Nigel Tamminga to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 14 minutes into the match, FC Štitáre's goal looked a bit too open when Carlos Eduardo Dante came free, but Nigel Tamminga reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Mustafa Ekrem Akkaş could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 16th minute of the match, but Anıl Ege Sebuktekin made a huge save. 18 minutes into the match, Cyprian Falkiewicz had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Nigel Tamminga. FC Štitáre's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Cyprian Falkiewicz was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. After 23 minutes of play, FC DNV Bratiskava's Carlos Eduardo Dante made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Nigel Tamminga was left in no man's land by his defense there! Anıl Ege Sebuktekin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Älämdar Känanov, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cyprian Falkiewicz in the 28th minute of play forced FC Štitáre's goalkeeper Nigel Tamminga to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Carlos Eduardo Dante's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Nigel Tamminga read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 29th minute of play. Donovan Burris sent away a hard shot on goal in the 34th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cyprian Falkiewicz in the 37th minute of play forced FC Štitáre's goalkeeper Nigel Tamminga to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A long shot from Älämdar Känanov in the 41st minute of play was well struck, but Anıl Ege Sebuktekin made a really good save at the right post. 47 minutes into the game, Francisc Toacsen was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. FC Štitáre's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave FC DNV Bratiskava the free kick. In the 48th minute, Francisc Toacsen hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. FC Štitáre made a substitution. Jozef Kišš replaced Richard Medveď. Nigel Tamminga showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cyprian Falkiewicz in the 51st minute of the match. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Cyprian Falkiewicz to strike the kick off in the second half. FC Štitáre's Nigel Tamminga played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Carlos Eduardo Dante in the 55th minute of play. If Donovan Burris had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 56th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 62 played minutes FC DNV Bratiskava got a freekick which was hit by Cyprian Falkiewicz. 65 minutes into the match, FC Štitáre's goal looked a bit too open when Carlos Eduardo Dante came free, but Nigel Tamminga reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. FC DNV Bratiskava were awarded a corner in the 67th minute after FC Štitáre's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Nils Breitbücher took the corner. Alvaro Barco's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Nigel Tamminga firmly grabbed it by the left post. In the 71st minute, one of FC Štitáre:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for FC Štitáre. Jozef Kišš hit a great freekick 76 minutes into the match. In the 79th minute, Francisc Toacsen hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Cyprian Falkiewicz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 80th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nigel Tamminga having to interfere. When Alessandro Colle fell near the penalty area in the 84th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored FC DNV Bratiskava's protests and gave Alessandro Colle a yellow card for diving instead. After 84 played minutes FC DNV Bratiskava got a freekick which was hit by Alessandro Colle. Anıl Ege Sebuktekin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Donovan Burris in the 88th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mustafa Ekrem Akkaş in the 89th minute of play forced FC DNV Bratiskava's goalkeeper Anıl Ege Sebuktekin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Donovan Burris fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Anıl Ege Sebuktekin having to interfere. In the 95th minute of the match, Cyprian Falkiewicz got a very nice opportunity to score, but Nigel Tamminga was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Anıl Ege Sebuktekin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mustafa Ekrem Akkaş, who was totally free with the ball in the 96th minute. If Donovan Burris had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 99th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Anıl Ege Sebuktekin didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Mustafa Ekrem Akkaş went, in the 101st minute, to the upper right corner, 1-3 was the resulting score. The FC Štitáre supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching FC DNV Bratiskava's performance. The match ended with a win for FC DNV Bratiskava.
