An unexpectedly hard shot by Eugen Zoch in the 13th minute of play forced FK Mazda Svidník's goalkeeper Stanislav Saktor to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience was convinced that Eugen Zoch's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Stanislav Saktor was relentless in the 14th minute of the game. A well-hit corner resulted in Korkut Hüdayioğlu heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. In the 32nd minute Eugen Zoch shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Stanislav Saktor saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Dávid Mojžiš came up free with the goalie in the 38th minute, the Feyenoord Malinovo fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Dávid Mojžiš couldn't finish the play. Feyenoord Malinovo's Blai Izaguirre played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Golo Strojek in the 41st minute of play. Feyenoord Malinovo's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Peter Németh in the 45th minute. Feyenoord Malinovo's Peter Németh was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Stanislav Saktor in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. If Matúš Závodský had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After the first half Feyenoord Malinovo were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Mikael Apelquist stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 68th minute the ball was on its way in behind FK Mazda Svidník's goalkeeper Stanislav Saktor, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. FK Mazda Svidník made a substitution. Martin Imrek replaced Ondrej Velits. After 70 minutes FK Mazda Svidník's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Peter Németh who took care of the corner kick. Peter Németh made a great header on Feyenoord Malinovo's corner, it was just that FK Mazda Svidník's Stanislav Saktor managed to reach the ball for a save. With a little luck, FK Mazda Svidník's Stanislav Saktor got control of the ball when René Orságh tried to sneak it across the goal line.
