The FC XY fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Miroslav Motuz should have stopped the shot. In the 12th minute, Tomáš Požgaj hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The crowd rose to their feet as Orhan Veli Mirac kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Štefan Semeno. That made the score 1-2 in the 13 minute of play. Orhan Veli Mirac could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 19th minute of the match, but Štefan Semeno made a huge save. With a little luck, AFK Petržalka's Štefan Semeno got control of the ball when Orhan Veli Mirac tried to sneak it across the goal line. 38 minutes into the match, AFK Petržalka's Tomáš Požgaj sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Miroslav Motuz narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The supporters of FC XY booed when AFK Petržalka was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 60 match minutes in a wonderful position. Vernon De Marco didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 61st minute, Igor Bališ hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Orhan Veli Mirac in the 63rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Štefan Semeno prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Tomáš Požgajs short, quick shot in the 67thth minute got Miroslav Motuz to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. The audience was convinced that Tomáš Požgaj's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Miroslav Motuz was relentless in the 69th minute of the game. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Tomáš Požgaj in the 69th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Miroslav Motuz prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Miroslav Motuz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tomáš Požgaj in the 78th minute of play. FC XY made a substitution. Daniel Pavlovič replaced Orhan Veli Mirac. Daniel Pavlovič's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Štefan Semeno read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 84th minute of play. Štefan Semeno made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Daniel Pavlovič in the 86th minute of play. Richard Zedník charged in rather forcefully in the 89th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Richard Zedník the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Richard Zedník hit a great freekick 89 minutes into the match. With a little luck, FC XY's Miroslav Motuz got control of the ball when Tomáš Požgaj tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 98th minute, Daniel Pavlovič ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Štefan Semeno was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-4. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. AFK Petržalka had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
