Ladislav Vališ made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-0. Gong Yang blasted a shot towards the goal in the 15th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Ladislav Vališ having to make a save. A collision led to MIK Focus ŽILINA getting a freekick after 17 minutes play. Martin Vozár hit a great ball. Gong Yang could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 18th minute of the match, but Ladislav Vališ made a huge save. Marek Horvát took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ivan Erdődy, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 23 minutes FC Kukova's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Martin Vozár who took care of the corner kick. FC Kukova's Blas Soter got a good chance for a goal in the 26th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. A collision led to MIK Focus ŽILINA getting a freekick after 28 minutes play. Martin Vozár hit a great ball. In the 34th minute, Blas Soter got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. FC Kukova's Zhu Zhen Lin managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Martin Vozár in the 40 minute of the game. In the last second Ladislav Vališ throw himself and got hold of the ball when Blas Soter in the 42ndth minute from his position got away a shot towards the right post. In the 43rd minute, Martin Vozár hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Gong Yang took the ball and in the 51 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Ladislav Vališ. Ladislav Vališ dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-0. After 61 minutes MIK Focus ŽILINA's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Gregório Pimentel who took care of the corner kick. Jarne Vloeberghs sent away a hard shot on goal in the 65th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Jarne Vloeberghs could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 74th minute of the match, but Marek Horvát made a huge save. For all the effort they put into the match, the MIK Focus ŽILINA players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for FC Kukova.
