Spectators: 9228 (Terracing: 6922, Seating: 2123, VIP seats: 183) Hodoš's Rilind Cvelbar started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 10th minute Rilind Cvelbar shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cveto Novinec saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, Hodoš's Aleksander Kutnjak got a free kick in the 14th minute. After 18 played minutes NK Koper got a freekick which was hit by Sergej Kovačič. In the 18th minute of the match Aleksander Kutnjak sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Cveto Novinec skillfully saved the ball. In the 21st minute Vinícius Paranaense shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Miloja Kerbler saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Vinícius Paranaense received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 26th minute. Miloja Kerbler tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The supporters of NK Koper booed when Hodoš was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 29 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dennis Beškovnik didn't get a good kick on the ball. Vinícius Paranaense fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 35th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Miloja Kerbler having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Rilind Cvelbar in the 45th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Cveto Novinec prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

Rilind Cvelbar's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Cveto Novinec read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 55th minute of play. The throw-in from Boyan Grah in the 58th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by NK Koper's Matthews Haskell. NK Koper's Sergej Kovačič got a good chance for a goal in the 59th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 62 minutes into the match, Hodoš's goal looked a bit too open when Vinícius Paranaense came free, but Miloja Kerbler reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 63rd minute of the game Boyan Grah made a throw-in which Slavoljub Komel played forward. In the 72nd minute, Dennis Beškovnik got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 79 minutes in the game Boyan Grah did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Dennis Beškovnik. Vinícius Paranaense kicked well hit freekick during the 85th minute of the match. In the 87th minute, Vinícius Paranaense got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Rilind Cvelbar in the 91stth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Cveto Novinec, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. In the 96thth minute of the game Rilind Cvelbar who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but NK Koper's Cveto Novinec was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Hodoš played a much better game than NK Koper and deserved their victory. The NK Koper players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
