Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Rilind Cvelbar in the 15th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Lucijan Božič prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Lucijan Božič stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Rilind Cvelbar's shot from short distance in the 16th minute. Miloja Kerbler showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Boško Luštrik in the 18th minute of the match. Lucijan Božič was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. If Dennis Beškovnik had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Hodoš's Rilind Cvelbar got a good chance for a goal in the 39th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Hodoš's Pascal Stare was substituted for Aleksander Kutnjak. A collision led to Cerkno MNK getting a freekick after 46 minutes play. Matey Mihovec hit a great ball. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

The wind increased when Rilind Cvelbar made the kick off in the second half. If Pascal Stare had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. Lucijan Božič took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dennis Beškovnik, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Peter Saksida's late challenge caught a Cerkno MNK's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Peter Saksida helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Hodoš getting a freekick after 69 minutes play. Peter Saksida hit a great ball. In the 70th minute of the match Arne Kac sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Miloja Kerbler skillfully saved the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rilind Cvelbar in the 73rd minute of play forced Cerkno MNK's goalkeeper Lucijan Božič to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 75th minute, Rilind Cvelbar managed to get in a good position for a shot. Hodoš's supporters rose to their feet, but Rilind Cvelbar was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Lucijan Božič breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Rilind Cvelbar had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 79th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Rilind Cvelbar in the 83rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Lucijan Božič saved Cerkno MNK from getting behind. Lucijan Božič made an important save on a dangerous shot by Dennis Beškovnik in the 89th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Rilind Cvelbar in the 91st managed to get into a good position. When the match was over Hodoš could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Cerkno MNK throughout the match.
