Spectators: 9216 (Terracing: 6914, Seating: 2119, VIP seats: 183) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Husejin Kusić kicked off to start the match. After having played for 2 minutes, Rado Gruntar managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. NK Kočevje's supporters crossed their fingers, but Rado Gruntar was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 6th minute, Kristifor Klampfer hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Husejin Kusić in the 8th minute of play forced NK Kočevje's goalkeeper Zorko Andrić to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of ND MURA 05 booed when NK Kočevje was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 8 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jurček Verbec didn't get a good kick on the ball. NK Kočevje's Rado Gruntar got a good chance for a goal in the 11th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Felix Preložnik had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 18th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a defensive mix-up in NK Kočevje's zone, Felix Preložnik stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Zorko Andrić came out of the goal and Felix Preložnik tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Simbad Vogel showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rado Gruntar, who was totally free with the ball in the 25th minute. Felix Preložnik struck a weak shot in the 30th minute. Zorko Andrić didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for ND MURA 05. In the 32nd minute, Husejin Kusić got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 33 played minutes NK Kočevje got a freekick which was hit by Jurček Verbec. In the 35th play minute Felix Preložnik came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Zorko Andrić. 1-0. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

The wind increased when Ecij Mihalek made the kick off in the second half. Ernest Jazbec kicked well hit freekick during the 57th minute of the match. After recieving a nice pass, NK Kočevje's Sanel Hovnik tried to score from far away in the 62nd minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. If Rado Gruntar had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 74th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Simbad Vogel was out of position in the 76 minute of play, and Ecij Mihalek capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Ecij Mihalek really showed his touch with that goal: 1-1. Husejin Kusić sent away a hard shot on goal in the 80th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After 81 minutes, Luc Ahlin mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the NK Kočevje and the ND MURA 05 players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, NK Kočevje's Luc Ahlin got a free kick in the 81st minute. 83 minutes into the game, Husejin Kusić cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-1. Zorko Andrić was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Zorko Andrić took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Husejin Kusić, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ecij Mihalek sent away a hard shot on goal in the 89th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 90 minutes into the match, ND MURA 05's goalkeeper Simbad Vogel had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Rado Gruntar. Ecij Mihalek took the ball and in the 92 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Simbad Vogel. Simbad Vogel dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-2. In the 95th minute, Kristifor Klampfer hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
