Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Lev Župec kicked off to start the match. In the 2nd minute, Martin Fletcher hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 4 minutes into the match, Lašče ND's Predrag Koler broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. Raphael De Lucca received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 7th minute. Darej Černič tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Raphael De Lucca struck a weak shot in the 16th minute. Darej Černič didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for NK MONT. Lev Župec had several of the NK MONT's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 29 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 2-0 score and a disappointed Miguel França as he didn't even see the shot coming. The supporters of NK MONT booed when Lašče ND was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 35 match minutes in a wonderful position. Šeherzad Plesničar didn't get a good kick on the ball. Nicholas Ercegović sent away a hard shot on goal in the 37th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 39 played minutes Lašče ND got a freekick which was hit by Ordančo Nerer. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Raphael De Lucca in the 41st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Darej Černič prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After having played for 42 minutes, Hristofor Súrbev managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. NK MONT's supporters crossed their fingers, but Hristofor Súrbev was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

Miguel França made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lev Župec in the 52nd minute of play. The supporters of Lašče ND booed when NK MONT was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 53 match minutes in a wonderful position. Borko Srakar didn't get a good kick on the ball. Hristofor Súrbev sent away a hard shot on goal in the 55th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. A very good chance. 66 minutes into the game, Raphael De Lucca recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Darej Černič. Raphael De Lucca showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-1. NK MONT's Raphael De Lucca got a good chance for a goal in the 72nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a rather tough play, Lašče ND's Šeherzad Plesničar got a free kick in the 73rd minute. After 77 minutes, Borko Srakar mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the NK MONT and the Lašče ND players grew even worse after the yellow card. Predrag Koler, 78 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Ordančo Nerer during the 79th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of NK MONT booed when Lašče ND was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 79 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ordančo Nerer didn't get a good kick on the ball. 82 minutes into the match, Lašče ND's goal looked a bit too open when Raphael De Lucca came free, but Darej Černič reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Predrag Koler's late challenge caught a NK MONT's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Predrag Koler helped the player get up and apologised. Predrag Koler kicked well hit freekick during the 83rd minute of the match. In the 84th minute Raphael De Lucca shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Darej Černič saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 86th minute, Borko Srakar hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Miguel França made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Boško Vukićević in the 87th minute of play. Boško Vukićević sent away a hard shot on goal in the 96th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When the referee blew the final whistle, Lašče ND could leave the field as winners, despite NK MONT having more of the ball for most of the match.
