Albert Hjälm tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 12 minutes into the match, Täby Idrottssällskap's Fredrik Ström sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Albert Hjälm narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After 22 played minutes Täby Idrottssällskap got a freekick which was hit by Tim Beckman. Nils-Åke Vinström recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 27th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Ian Fridlund showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alf Stolpe in the 35th minute of the match. 44 minutes into the match, Nils-Åke Vinström had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Ian Fridlund. Täby Idrottssällskap's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Nils-Åke Vinström was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. After 47 played minutes IFK Fjärås got a freekick which was hit by Magne Berggren.

After having played for 56 minutes, Alf Stolpe managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. IFK Fjärås's supporters crossed their fingers, but Alf Stolpe was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nils-Åke Vinström in the 58th minute of play forced Täby Idrottssällskap's goalkeeper Ian Fridlund to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Esbjörn Nordin's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Albert Hjälm read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 67th minute of play. Ian Fridlund made a fantastic save in the 69th minute, when Alf Stolpe sent off a good shot on target. The crowd rose to their feet as Alf Stolpe kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Ian Fridlund. That made the score 1-2 in the 69 minute of play. Ian Fridlund showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nils-Åke Vinström, who was totally free with the ball in the 78th minute. After 89 minutes, Samuel Björkqvist mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the IFK Fjärås and the Täby Idrottssällskap players grew even worse after the yellow card. When Magne Berggren fell near the penalty area in the 91st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored IFK Fjärås's protests and gave Magne Berggren a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Täby Idrottssällskap booed when IFK Fjärås was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 92 match minutes in a wonderful position. Magne Berggren didn't get a good kick on the ball. Täby Idrottssällskap's Marcus Colin couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 93rd minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for IFK Fjärås. 95 minutes into the match, Täby Idrottssällskap's goal looked a bit too open when Nils-Åke Vinström came free, but Ian Fridlund reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 97 played minutes Täby Idrottssällskap got a freekick which was hit by Erik Vallgren. In the 100th minute, IFK Fjärås's Nils-Åke Vinström dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-3.
