Emanuel Blom started the match with the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Emanuel Blom in the 3rd minute of play forced FC Bollklubb's goalkeeper Michael Holm to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Emanuel Blom in the 5th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Michael Holm saved FC Bollklubb from getting behind. With 7 minutes on the clock, Tobias Stigsson commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. In a very dangerous position, a player in Vimmerby Tigers IF fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 7th minute. Penalty! In the 9th minute, FC Bollklubb got a penalty, and Thor Jonasson placed the ball unsaveable into goal, by the right post. 14 minutes into the match, FC Bollklubb's goal looked a bit too open when Emanuel Blom came free, but Michael Holm reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Emanuel Blom received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 18th minute. Michael Holm tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Emil Bergsten had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 20th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Michael Holm made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Emanuel Blom in the 22nd minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Patrick Falk got free with Tommy Salkvist in the 23rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Vimmerby Tigers IF's Emanuel Blom got a good chance for a goal in the 25th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Patrick Falk could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 29th minute of the match, but Tommy Salkvist made a huge save. Patrick Falk fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 34th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tommy Salkvist having to interfere. With his leg Tommy Salkvist managed to avoid a goal in the 36thth minute, when FC Bollklubb's Patrick Falk fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. The audience was convinced that Emanuel Blom's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Michael Holm was relentless in the 38th minute of the game. The supporters of Vimmerby Tigers IF booed when FC Bollklubb was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 38 match minutes in a wonderful position. Orvar Nyman didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a defensive mix-up in FC Bollklubb's zone, Emanuel Blom stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Michael Holm came out of the goal and Emanuel Blom tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Tommy Salkvist made an important save on a dangerous shot by Patrick Falk in the 43rd minute. When Vimmerby Tigers IF's Emanuel Blom in the 48th minute got a chance for a shot 48th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye FC Bollklubb's goalie prevented a goal. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

In the 53rd minute, Jim Nordström made a precise shot to the right of Tommy Salkvist. Vimmerby Tigers IF's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-1. 58 minutes into the game, Casper Söderkvist threw the ball into play from the sideline. Vimmerby Tigers IF's Emil Bergsten quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. Michael Holm took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Emanuel Blom, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Jim Nordström scored 3-1 in the 60th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Tommy Salkvist, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 64th minute Patrick Falk shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tommy Salkvist saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience was convinced that Emanuel Blom's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Michael Holm was relentless in the 66th minute of the game. Vimmerby Tigers IF's Emil Bergsten managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Casper Söderkvist in the 68 minute of the game. Emanuel Blom blasted a shot towards the goal in the 69th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Michael Holm having to make a save. After a rather tough play, FC Bollklubb's Arman Blixt got a free kick in the 70th minute. Michael Holm made a fantastic save in the 72nd minute, when Emanuel Blom sent off a good shot on target. Michael Holm was a little too slow when Emanuel Blom got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 75th minute. The score was now 3-2. Tommy Salkvist came out of the goal in the 79th minute to try and stop a shot by FC Bollklubb's Patrick Falk. But to his dismay, Patrick Falk quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-2. In the 83rd minute, Ted Brummer hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Michael Holm made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Olov Lind in the 85th minute of play. After having played for 89 minutes, Emanuel Blom managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Vimmerby Tigers IF's supporters crossed their fingers, but Emanuel Blom was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Casper Söderkvist hit a great freekick 91 minutes into the match. 95 minutes into the match, Emanuel Blom had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Michael Holm. FC Bollklubb's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Emanuel Blom was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-3. When the referee blew the final whistle, FC Bollklubb could leave the field as winners, despite Vimmerby Tigers IF having more of the ball for most of the match.
