Folke Persson made a fantastic save in the 17th minute, when Henry Stensson sent off a good shot on target. After some careless play in the sumpan bk defense, Sören Andreasson kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Jonny Frisk. The sumpan bk fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Jonny Frisk should have stopped the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sören Andreasson in the 26th minute of play forced sumpan bk's goalkeeper Jonny Frisk to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 30 minutes of play, sumpan bk's Henry Stensson made it 2-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Folke Persson was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 35th minute, Sören Andreasson left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Alstermo BK fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-2. Alstermo BK's Folke Persson proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 40th minute of the match, managed to save Alstermo BK from getting a goal against them. Stig Bokelund received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 42nd minute. Jonny Frisk tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Stig Bokelund had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The first half was very even, with the score at 2-2 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The wind increased when Kasper Törnblom made the kick off in the second half. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Henry Stensson in the 57th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Folke Persson prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When Viggo Lundström fell near the penalty area in the 59th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored sumpan bk's protests and gave Viggo Lundström a yellow card for diving instead. In the 59th match minute, sumpan bk was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Viggo Lundström to maneuver through the defense. When sumpan bk's Henry Stensson in the 64th minute got a chance for a shot 64th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. In the 76th minute, Stig Bokelund got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 79th minute Kasper Törnblom shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Folke Persson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Kasper Törnblom had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 84th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Folke Persson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Henry Stensson in the 86th minute of the match. If Henry Stensson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 91st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Kasper Törnblom in the 94th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Folke Persson saved Alstermo BK from getting behind.
