In a very dangerous position, a player in Stoke city Fc fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 15th minute. Penalty! 19 minutes into the match, Stoke city Fc's goal looked a bit too open when 王远剑 came free, but Ulf Bergsten reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 19 minutes of play, Torup's 王远剑 made it 2-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Ulf Bergsten was left in no man's land by his defense there! Walmyr Pontes took the ball and in the 22 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Henrik Öberg. Henrik Öberg dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-2. 25 minutes into the game, Walmyr Pontes cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-3. Henrik Öberg was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Valter Sander might have been able to make a better finish in the 35th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Ulf Bergsten. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Valter Sander ran back to his position shaking his head. Stoke city Fc's attentive Alirio Rua managed to snatch the ball when Kjell-Arne Lange made a throw-in in the 46th minute of the game. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 2-3 lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when 王远剑 stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Henrik Öberg took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Anders Eriksson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Svante Palmkvist came up free with the goalie in the 54th minute, the Stoke city Fc fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Svante Palmkvist couldn't finish the play. 62 minutes into the game, Kjell-Arne Lange threw the ball into play from the sideline. Stoke city Fc's Anders Eriksson quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. Henrik Öberg showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Walmyr Pontes, who was totally free with the ball in the 63rd minute. Ulf Bergsten didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Valter Sander went, in the 66th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-3 was the resulting score. Johan Morat kicked well hit freekick during the 68th minute of the match. Stoke city Fc's Anders Eriksson quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Kjell-Arne Lange, made in the 72nd minute of the game. Ulf Bergsten showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from 王远剑 in the 75th minute of the match. When Anders Eriksson fell near the penalty area in the 83rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Stoke city Fc's protests and gave Anders Eriksson a yellow card for diving instead. In the 83rd minute, Anders Eriksson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Torup succeeded in salvaging a draw, even though Stoke city Fc had controlled the match.
