Spectators: 7222 (Terracing: 5418, Seating: 1661, VIP seats: 143) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Alfred Berglund got the match started through his kick off. 9 minutes into the match, Svedala RK's goalkeeper Ian Petersson had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Emil Matsson. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alfred Berglund in the 16th minute of play forced Svedala RK's goalkeeper Ian Petersson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Svedala RK's Ian Petersson proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 20th minute of the match, managed to save Svedala RK from getting a goal against them. Håkan Sjögren showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ingemar Bredberg in the 25th minute of the match. Säffle FK's Alfred Berglund got a good chance for a goal in the 26th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Ulrik Hultman hit a great freekick 28 minutes into the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 29th minute, Ingemar Bredberg managed to get in a good position for a shot. Svedala RK's supporters rose to their feet, but Ingemar Bredberg was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Håkan Sjögren breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Harry Askstedt scored 0-1 in the 31st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Håkan Sjögren, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Emil Matsson's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 35thth minute, Ian Petersson skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. In the 37th minute, Alfred Berglund got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Adrian Dalberg hit a great freekick 41 minutes into the match. Emil Matsson recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 42nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 43rd minute, Christian Mellberg hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 47th minute, Ingemar Bredberg got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After the first half Svedala RK were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Ingemar Bredberg made a kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ingemar Bredberg in the 53rd minute of play forced Säffle FK's goalkeeper Håkan Sjögren to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Svedala RK's zone, Emil Matsson stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ian Petersson came out of the goal and Emil Matsson tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The supporters of Säffle FK booed when Svedala RK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 61 match minutes in a wonderful position. Adrian Dalberg didn't get a good kick on the ball. After recieving a nice pass, Säffle FK's Bengt-Åke Vassenius tried to score from far away in the 62nd minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Ian Petersson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alfred Berglund, who was totally free with the ball in the 64th minute. Algot Johansson charged in rather forcefully in the 65th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Algot Johansson the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Svedala RK's Algot Johansson got a free kick in the 65th minute. Emil Matsson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 69th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The Säffle FK fans' excitement grew in the 71st match minute when Säffle FK's Alfred Berglund looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Alfred Berglund's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Ian Petersson read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 75th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Emil Matsson in the 76th minute of play forced Svedala RK's goalkeeper Ian Petersson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ian Petersson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Emil Matsson, who was totally free with the ball in the 82nd minute. In the 86th minute Alfred Berglund shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ian Petersson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alfred Berglund in the 89th minute of play forced Svedala RK's goalkeeper Ian Petersson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to Säffle FK getting a freekick after 95 minutes play. Vilhelm Lundqvist hit a great ball.
