With a couple of smart ball manuevers Börje Vallengren in the 6th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Tomas Törnkvist saved Bulldog Vipers from getting behind. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Lennart Holmstedt in the 7th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Tomas Törnkvist prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Anton Tunberg made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Håkan Duset in the 9th minute of play. Tomas Törnkvist took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lennart Holmstedt, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. August Billberg's late challenge caught a Tranbär FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. When the match had been going on for 30 minutes, Tranbär FC's Anders Samuelsson got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Tomas Törnkvist. Marcus Blom recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 35th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Bulldog Vipers's defense didn't have a chance, in the 37th minute, when Lennart Holmstedt scored to the left of an out of position Tomas Törnkvist, making the score, 2-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lennart Holmstedt in the 40th minute of play forced Bulldog Vipers's goalkeeper Tomas Törnkvist to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Karl-Åke Bohlin kicked well hit freekick during the 43rd minute of the match. With a little luck, Bulldog Vipers's Tomas Törnkvist got control of the ball when Börje Vallengren tried to sneak it across the goal line. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Lennart Holmstedt made a kick off. The audience was convinced that Lennart Holmstedt's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Tomas Törnkvist was relentless in the 73rd minute of the game. In the 83rd minute Lennart Holmstedt shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tomas Törnkvist saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of Tranbär FC booed when Bulldog Vipers was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 87 match minutes in a wonderful position. August Billberg didn't get a good kick on the ball. After having played for 88 minutes, Ragnar Pihlblad managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Tranbär FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ragnar Pihlblad was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Tranbär FC fully deserved thier win.
