FC Barcelona's Dan Almstedt proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 9th minute of the match, managed to save FC Barcelona from getting a goal against them. After 16 minutes of play, FC Barcelona's Karl Forssberg made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Martin Bergman was left in no man's land by his defense there! When Karl Forssberg came up free with the goalie in the 22nd minute, the FC Barcelona fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Karl Forssberg couldn't finish the play. Dan Almstedt made a fantastic save in the 27th minute, when Tomas Zander sent off a good shot on target. The crowd rose to their feet as Jonas Vidman kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Dan Almstedt. That made the score 1-1 in the 37 minute of play. Dan Almstedt stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Tomas Zander's shot from short distance in the 40th minute. Patric Wickander hit a great freekick 47 minutes into the match. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Jonas Vidman to make the kick off. After a defensive mix-up in FC Barcelona's zone, Tomas Zander stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Dan Almstedt came out of the goal and Tomas Zander tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Herberto Urruti might have been able to make a better finish in the 57th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Martin Bergman. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Herberto Urruti ran back to his position shaking his head. 57 minutes into the game, Tomas Zander was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Samuel Maciel kicked well hit freekick during the 76th minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Karl Forssberg got free with Martin Bergman in the 77th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. If Tomas Zander had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 78th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Dan Almstedt showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jonas Vidman, who was totally free with the ball in the 81st minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tomas Zander in the 84th minute of play forced FC Barcelona's goalkeeper Dan Almstedt to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Samuel Maciel hit a great ball. The audience held their breath when Andréas Tunberg in the 95th minute of the game managed to trick the opponents defenses and fired away a shot outside the goal on the Dan Almstedt's left hand side. By kyrkby RK's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
