Feliks Huk blasted a shot towards the goal in the 9th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Charlie Myr having to make a save. Åmål's Ivar Lidberg got a good chance for a goal in the 10th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Edvard Lundqvist in the 12th minute of play forced Åmål's goalkeeper Henric Paulin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Joar Magnusson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 15th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Feliks Huk's late challenge caught a Smurfarna's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Feliks Huk helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Smurfarna booed when Åmål was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 19 match minutes in a wonderful position. Feliks Huk didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 21st minute, Holger Uter managed to get in a good position for a shot. Smurfarna's supporters rose to their feet, but Holger Uter was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Henric Paulin breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. With a little luck, Åmål's Henric Paulin got control of the ball when Holger Uter tried to sneak it across the goal line. Henric Paulin was a little too slow when Edvard Lundqvist got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 24th minute. The score was now 1-0. Edvard Lundqvist succeeded in the game's 27th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 2-0. Charlie Myr showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Joar Magnusson in the 31st minute of the match. Joar Magnusson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 34th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Charlie Myr having to interfere. Charlie Myr took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Feliks Huk, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 37 minutes into the game, Henry Andreasson was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Smurfarna's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Åmål the free kick. In the 38th minute, Henry Andreasson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 42 played minutes, Åmål's Zebastian Bergfeldt shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Charlie Myr came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Åmål reached it. After 43 minutes, Alf Skark mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Smurfarna and the Åmål players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 43rd match minute, Smurfarna was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alf Skark to maneuver through the defense. The supporters of Smurfarna booed when Åmål was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 46 match minutes in a wonderful position. Feliks Huk didn't get a good kick on the ball. Joar Magnusson's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Charlie Myr read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 48th minute of play. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

Ivar Lidberg could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 53rd minute of the match, but Charlie Myr made a huge save. When Åmål's Joar Magnusson in the 54th minute got a chance for a shot 54th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Smurfarna's goalie prevented a goal. Henric Paulin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Holger Uter, who was totally free with the ball in the 56th minute. In the 60th minute, Åmål's Ivar Lidberg dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-1. Åmål's Henric Paulin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Holger Uter in the 64th minute of play. 64 minutes into the match, Holger Uter notched a goal, 3-1, to the right of Åmål's Henric Paulin. Henric Paulin was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 67 minutes into the game, Holger Uter cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 4-1. Henric Paulin was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. An unexpectedly hard shot by Joar Magnusson in the 77th minute of play forced Smurfarna's goalkeeper Charlie Myr to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Alf Skark kicked well hit freekick during the 78th minute of the match. In the 81st minute Joar Magnusson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Charlie Myr saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After having played for 83 minutes, Holger Uter managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Smurfarna's supporters crossed their fingers, but Holger Uter was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Holger Uter in the 85th minute of play forced Åmål's goalkeeper Henric Paulin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Åmål's zone, Edvard Lundqvist stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Henric Paulin came out of the goal and Edvard Lundqvist tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Holger Uter received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 91st minute. Henric Paulin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 93 minutes into the match, Åmål's Joar Magnusson sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Charlie Myr narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Henric Paulin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Holger Uter in the 96th minute of play. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Smurfarna had won after a very even match.
