Paul Holm recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 5th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Ivar Bodin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sven-Edvin Alströmer in the 13th minute of the match. 16 minutes into the game, Mörlunda's Sven-Edvin Alströmer nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Ivar Bodin made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. In the 21st minute, Sven-Edvin Alströmer made a precise shot to the right of Ivar Bodin. Självdö's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. After a rather tough play, Självdö's Torbjörn Sundin got a free kick in the 26th minute. Ivar Bodin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Per-Arne Mattsson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Sven-Edvin Alströmer received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 35th minute. Ivar Bodin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Sven-Edvin Alströmer in the 37th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ivar Bodin prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Per-Arne Mattsson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 43rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Per-Arne Mattsson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 47th minute. Ivar Bodin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

The wind increased when Per-Arne Mattsson made the kick off in the second half. Tommy Groth blasted a shot towards the goal in the 51st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Axel Tidéksson having to make a save. Sven-Edvin Alströmer's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 58thth minute, Ivar Bodin skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. 61 minutes into the match, Självdö's goal looked a bit too open when Per-Arne Mattsson came free, but Ivar Bodin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ivar Bodin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Per-Arne Mattsson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The audience thought a goal was coming when Sven-Edvin Alströmer got free with Ivar Bodin in the 69th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Fredrik Simonsson kicked well hit freekick during the 70th minute of the match. When Per-Arne Mattsson came up free with the goalie in the 77th minute, the Mörlunda fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Per-Arne Mattsson couldn't finish the play. Sven-Edvin Alströmer blasted a shot towards the goal in the 84th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Ivar Bodin having to make a save. Per-Arne Mattsson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 85th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Sven-Edvin Alströmer could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 87th minute of the match, but Ivar Bodin made a huge save. Mörlunda were awarded a corner in the 89th minute after Självdö's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Wilhelm Lund took the corner. A well-hit corner resulted in Algot Häll heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. Ivar Bodin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Per-Arne Mattsson, who was totally free with the ball in the 91st minute. Per-Arne Mattsson struck a weak shot in the 92nd minute. Ivar Bodin didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Mörlunda.
