Spectators: 7361 (Terracing: 5521, Seating: 1693, VIP seats: 147) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Johannes Wenerdahl kicked off to start the match. Alfons Mager was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 3rd minute. KG United's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. If Johannes Wenerdahl had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 7th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After 12 minutes, André Hansson mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Varnhem and the KG United players grew even worse after the yellow card. André Hansson hit a great freekick 12 minutes into the match. David Sjödin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 13th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a defensive mix-up in Varnhem's zone, Alfons Mager stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Per-Åke Mogren came out of the goal and Alfons Mager tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. A collision led to KG United getting a freekick after 27 minutes play. Jörn Åberg hit a great ball. In the 34th minute, Leonardo Hellström left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Varnhem fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. In the 41st minute, Hans Frisck ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Vilhelm Wallin was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. After having played for 46 minutes, Johannes Wenerdahl managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Varnhem's supporters crossed their fingers, but Johannes Wenerdahl was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Jörn Åberg's late challenge caught a Varnhem's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Jörn Åberg helped the player get up and apologised. KG United's Vilhelm Wallin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Johannes Wenerdahl in the 49th minute of play. The KG United players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Varnhem were winning 0-2.

The wind increased when David Sjödin made the kick off in the second half. Johannes Wenerdahl sent away a hard shot on goal in the 53rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Vilhelm Wallin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Johannes Wenerdahl, who was totally free with the ball in the 59th minute. After 64 played minutes Varnhem got a freekick which was hit by Hans Frisck. With his leg Vilhelm Wallin managed to avoid a goal in the 69thth minute, when Varnhem's Leonardo Hellström fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Johannes Wenerdahl had several of the KG United's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 76 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 0-4 score and a disappointed Vilhelm Wallin as he didn't even see the shot coming. When Alfons Mager came up free with the goalie in the 79th minute, the KG United fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Alfons Mager couldn't finish the play. Leonardo Hellström received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 86th minute. Vilhelm Wallin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 91 played minutes KG United got a freekick which was hit by Birger Dahlbom. Leonardo Hellström kicked well hit freekick during the 92nd minute of the match. If Leonardo Hellström had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 97th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
