The audience thought a goal was coming when Allan Arvidsson got free with Johannes Sjöström in the 16th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After a rather tough play, Tallåsen RK's Victor Åkerberg got a free kick in the 19th minute. Jörn Engström's late challenge caught a Pungbo 66's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Jörn Engström helped the player get up and apologised. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Dan Lindblom during the 34th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 34th minute, Dan Lindblom hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Karl-Åke Skarkman received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 36th minute. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Torbjörn Lundin was the one to do the kick off. Hannes Telin charged in rather forcefully in the 66th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Hannes Telin the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 68thth minute of the game Torbjörn Lundin who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Tallåsen RK's Sven-Åke Drewitz was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Allan Arvidsson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 73rd minute. After 90 minutes of play Pungbo 66's Kåre Albohm was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. In the 90th match minute, Pungbo 66 was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Kåre Albohm to maneuver through the defense. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Allan Arvidsson in the 92nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Johannes Sjöström prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After some fancy dribbling in the 95th minute, Karl-Åke Skarkman managed to get in a good position for a shot. Tallåsen RK's supporters rose to their feet, but Karl-Åke Skarkman was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Johannes Sjöström breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Johannes Sjöström made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Allan Arvidsson in the 97th minute of play. Tallåsen RK's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
