Spectators: 7343 (Terracing: 5509, Seating: 1689, VIP seats: 145) Björn Ståhlberg started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. Brian Martinsson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tomas Deckbergh in the 8th minute of play. In the 8th minute, Göran Bergvall hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Björn Ståhlberg came up free with the goalie in the 9th minute, the City Slickers fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Björn Ståhlberg couldn't finish the play. Rasmus Pihlberg kicked well hit freekick during the 11th minute of the match. Henry Brask sent away a hard shot on goal in the 13th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The supporters of City Slickers booed when Sibbhult BK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 14 match minutes in a wonderful position. Knut Västlund didn't get a good kick on the ball. After having played for 16 minutes, Tomas Deckbergh managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. City Slickers's supporters crossed their fingers, but Tomas Deckbergh was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 21 minutes, Sixten Löfgren mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the City Slickers and the Sibbhult BK players grew even worse after the yellow card. Brian Martinsson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tomas Deckbergh, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Björn Ståhlberg fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 28th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Brian Martinsson having to interfere. Kurt Pettersson recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 37th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Henry Brask stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 54thth minute of the game Björn Ståhlberg who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Sibbhult BK's Brian Martinsson was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Björn Ståhlberg fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 58th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Brian Martinsson having to interfere. In the 62nd minute, Björn Ståhlberg fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Brian Martinsson, passed just outside the right post. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Joakim Engman during the 66th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 66th minute, Joakim Engman hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Brian Martinsson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Björn Ståhlberg, who was totally free with the ball in the 68th minute. After having played for 80 minutes, Tomas Deckbergh managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. City Slickers's supporters crossed their fingers, but Tomas Deckbergh was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Albin Vallander showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Henry Brask, who was totally free with the ball in the 86th minute. Kurt Pettersson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 87th minute. Albin Vallander tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Rasmus Pihlberg during the 90th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 90 played minutes City Slickers got a freekick which was hit by Rasmus Pihlberg. City Slickers's Albin Vallander played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Henry Brask in the 95th minute of play. If Kurt Pettersson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 97th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Sibbhult BK were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of City Slickers for a fine match.
