After 2 played minutes, Smulan BK's Erling Fribäck shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Sture Fridlund came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Smulan BK reached it. An unexpectedly hard shot by Walter Brandin in the 4th minute of play forced Moyseh Boys's goalkeeper Sture Fridlund to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 15th minute Walter Brandin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sture Fridlund saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 21 minutes into the game, Staffan Persson was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Moyseh Boys's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Smulan BK the free kick. Staffan Persson kicked well hit freekick during the 21st minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Smulan BK's zone, Torbjörn Öberg stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Per-Olof Andersson came out of the goal and Torbjörn Öberg tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 30th minute Kaj Sjöberg shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sture Fridlund saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Kaj Sjöberg had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 1-0 became the score in the 39th minute when Torbjörn Öberg elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The wind increased when Walter Brandin made the kick off in the second half. Dag Kvalfält received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 67th minute. Per-Olof Andersson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Per-Olof Andersson came out of the goal in the 69th minute to try and stop a shot by Moyseh Boys's Torbjörn Öberg. But to his dismay, Torbjörn Öberg quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-0. After 72 minutes, Olof Asserlind mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Smulan BK and the Moyseh Boys players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 72nd minute, Olof Asserlind hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Torbjörn Öberg in the 76th minute of play forced Smulan BK's goalkeeper Per-Olof Andersson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Torbjörn Öberg sent away a hard shot on goal in the 80th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 4-0 became the score in the 83rd minute when Torbjörn Öberg elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. The audience was convinced that Dag Kvalfält's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Per-Olof Andersson was relentless in the 87th minute of the game. After 88 minutes, Torbjörn Öberg made it 5-0 with a short kick to the right side. Smulan BK's Per-Olof Andersson tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Moyseh Boys's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
