After having played for 24 minutes, Jens-Erik Wallengren managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Lingbo BK's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jens-Erik Wallengren was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gottfrid Lund in the 26th minute of play forced Lingbo BK's goalkeeper Hans Snäll to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 29th match minute, Kila IF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gottfrid Lund to maneuver through the defense. 31 minutes into the match, Kila IF's goal looked a bit too open when Jörgen Grep came free, but Alfons Christoffersson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Hans Snäll took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tor Arvidsson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A collision led to Lingbo BK getting a freekick after 45 minutes play. Lennart Thorsberg hit a great ball. Lingbo BK's Hans Snäll played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alvin Damm in the 47th minute of play. Kila IF's Alfons Christoffersson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jörgen Grep in the 48th minute of play. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Jens-Erik Wallengren to strike the kick off in the second half. Alfons Christoffersson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jörgen Grep, who was totally free with the ball in the 52nd minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Jörgen Grep in the 53rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Alfons Christoffersson prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 55 minutes into the game, Lingbo BK's Jens-Erik Wallengren nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Alfons Christoffersson made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-0. Lingbo BK's Hans Snäll proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 60th minute of the match, managed to save Lingbo BK from getting a goal against them. In the 61st minute Jens-Erik Wallengren shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alfons Christoffersson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 69 minutes into the game, Alvin Damm recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Hans Snäll. Alvin Damm showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-1. Lingbo BK's Jens-Erik Wallengren got a good chance for a goal in the 74th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 77th minute, Jens-Erik Wallengren got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Jens-Erik Wallengren in the 87th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Alfons Christoffersson prevented the ball from getting in the gole.
