Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Bo Fristedt to make the kick off. After a rather tough play, Icebeers's Johannes Jakobsson got a free kick in the 54th minute. Bo Fristedt who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 55thth minute tested the skills of Dag Brandin when he managed to save the team from getting behind. The supporters of ZypRo FC booed when Icebeers was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 91 match minutes in a wonderful position. Johannes Jakobsson didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Gösta Bergsten came up free with the goalie in the 96th minute, the ZypRo FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gösta Bergsten couldn't finish the play.
