Spectators: 6672 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1672, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Erland Bäck started the match with the kick off. Konrad Berggren fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 3rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Pelle Malmberg having to interfere. After 8 played minutes Hammarby IF got a freekick which was hit by Carl Ahlqvist. Torsten Käller in the 10thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Ove Kråk, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Hampus Ekegren struck a weak shot in the 12th minute. Pelle Malmberg didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Hammarby IF. Torsten Käller received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 14th minute. Ove Kråk tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Torsten Käller who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 16thth minute tested the skills of Ove Kråk when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Ove Kråk made a fantastic save in the 20th minute, when Torsten Käller sent off a good shot on target. Torsten Käller received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 23rd minute. Ove Kråk tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 29 minutes into the match, Hammarby IF's goal looked a bit too open when Erland Bäck came free, but Ove Kråk reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of Åre booed when Hammarby IF was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 30 match minutes in a wonderful position. Valdemar Åberg didn't get a good kick on the ball. Åre's Peder Åkerman shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 31st minute of play. The shot was stopped by Ove Kråk but with some difficulty. The long shot by Nils Hultin in the 33rd minute really tested Ove Kråk's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. Hampus Ekegren's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Pelle Malmberg read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 35th minute of play. The supporters of Hammarby IF booed when Åre was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 36 match minutes in a wonderful position. Olov Lööf didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 40 minutes of play, Åre's Torsten Käller made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Ove Kråk was left in no man's land by his defense there! Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Konrad Berggren was the one to do the kick off. Åre's Pelle Malmberg played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Konrad Berggren in the 51st minute of play. In the 55th match minute, Hammarby IF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Valdemar Åberg to maneuver through the defense. In the 56th minute, Peder Åkerman sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Hammarby IF's Ove Kråk didn't even have to move. Konrad Berggren received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 59th minute. Pelle Malmberg tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The crowd rose to their feet as Hammarby IF's Henrik Vester slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Pelle Malmberg. That made the score 1-1 after 66 minutes of play. A collision led to Hammarby IF getting a freekick after 69 minutes play. Henrik Vester hit a great ball. In the 72nd minute of the match Per Stor sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Ove Kråk skillfully saved the ball. The supporters of Hammarby IF booed when Åre was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 78 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ivar Åman didn't get a good kick on the ball. Hammarby IF's Konrad Berggren got a good chance for a goal in the 80th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Pelle Malmberg made a fantastic save in the 82nd minute, when Hampus Ekegren sent off a good shot on target. Pelle Malmberg made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Konrad Berggren in the 85th minute of play. If Torsten Käller had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 87th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 89th minute, Hampus Ekegren got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Torsten Käller sent away a hard shot on goal in the 94th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. The second half was just like the first, even and exciting. The match ended in a draw.
