Söderhamn RK's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Vitå the free kick. After a rather tough play, Söderhamn RK's Alexander Holmstedt got a free kick in the 6th minute. Sven-Erik Pihl kicked well hit freekick during the 7th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Vitå's zone, Jan-Ove Ahlerot stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Fredric Bäckman came out of the goal and Jan-Ove Ahlerot tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Filip Björk blasted a shot towards the goal in the 12th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Nils-Åke Hult having to make a save. Filip Björk fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 15th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nils-Åke Hult having to interfere. In the 20th minute, Benjamin Hjortsberg left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Söderhamn RK fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. Alvar Ståhlberg charged in rather forcefully in the 32nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Alvar Ståhlberg the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 32nd match minute, Vitå was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alvar Ståhlberg to maneuver through the defense. In the 33rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Vitå's goalkeeper Fredric Bäckman, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Jan-Ove Ahlerot fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 37th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fredric Bäckman having to interfere. Fredric Bäckman stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Jesper Martinsson's shot from short distance in the 39th minute. Jalen Faxbro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 40th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Jesper Martinsson in the 44th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Fredric Bäckman prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

Alvar Ståhlberg sent away a hard shot on goal in the 64th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpected shot in the 67th minute by Jan-Ove Ahlerot got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Jan-Ove Ahlerot fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 73rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fredric Bäckman having to interfere. In the 80th minute, Vitå's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Jan-Ove Ahlerot fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. In the 81st minute, Alvar Ståhlberg got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 95th minute Jan-Ove Ahlerot shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fredric Bäckman saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Söderhamn RK's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
