With a left leg Eskil Käcker saved Dahlia IF from getting behind. Georg Nyström scored 0-1 in the 12th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Eskil Käcker, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Ulrik Rang during the 16th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Dahlia IF getting a freekick after 16 minutes play. Ulrik Rang hit a great ball. Georg Nyström scored 0-2 in the 25th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Eskil Käcker, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. If Georg Nyström had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 30th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Tage Näfver recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 33rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Jonas Hökkvist fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 34th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eskil Käcker having to interfere. 36 minutes into the match, Dahlia IF's goal looked a bit too open when Georg Nyström came free, but Eskil Käcker reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, Älgens BK's Tage Näfver got a free kick in the 44th minute.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Georg Nyström was the one to do the kick off. After some fancy dribbling in the 52nd minute, Jonas Hökkvist managed to get in a good position for a shot. Älgens BK's supporters rose to their feet, but Jonas Hökkvist was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Eskil Käcker breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 53 minutes, Michael Löfgren mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Dahlia IF and the Älgens BK players grew even worse after the yellow card. The goalkeeper, Eskil Käcker, was totally fooled by Älgens BK's Georg Nyström, who 55 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. Georg Nyström recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 59th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 66 minutes, Georg Nyström made it 0-4 with a short kick to the right side. Dahlia IF's Eskil Käcker tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Olov Mattsson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 84th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eskil Käcker having to interfere. If Georg Nyström had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 87th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Georg Nyström sent away a hard shot on goal in the 89th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 92nd minute Georg Nyström shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eskil Käcker saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Georg Nyström received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 99th minute. Eskil Käcker tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The Dahlia IF fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Älgens BK were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
