Spectators: 7303 (Terracing: 5478, Seating: 1680, VIP seats: 145) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Pelle Bengtsson made the kick off which started today's match. After having played for 6 minutes, Tomas Berglund managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Grillby's supporters crossed their fingers, but Tomas Berglund was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Pelle Bengtsson kicked well hit freekick during the 8th minute of the match. In the 11thth minute of the game Ted Olsson who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but BK Slangen's Evert Kaxe was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Claes Tingelholm made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Pelle Bengtsson in the 14th minute of play. Claes Tingelholm made an important save on a dangerous shot by Sture Stenquist in the 17th minute. Pelle Bengtsson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 20th minute. Claes Tingelholm tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Evert Kaxe made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ted Olsson in the 26th minute of play. Claes Tingelholm came out of the goal in the 28th minute to try and stop a shot by BK Slangen's Pelle Bengtsson. But to his dismay, Pelle Bengtsson quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. When Pelle Bengtsson came up free with the goalie in the 33rd minute, the BK Slangen fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Pelle Bengtsson couldn't finish the play. If Leo Jelm had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Sture Stenquist blasted a shot towards the goal in the 38th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Claes Tingelholm having to make a save. BK Slangen's Pelle Bengtsson got a good chance for a goal in the 41st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Sture Stenquist had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Claes Tingelholm showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Pelle Bengtsson, who was totally free with the ball in the 48th minute. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

An unexpectedly hard shot by Pelle Bengtsson in the 57th minute of play forced Grillby's goalkeeper Claes Tingelholm to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Sture Stenquist had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 59th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 61 minutes into the game, BK Slangen's Pelle Bengtsson nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Claes Tingelholm made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-0. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Casper Haström during the 68th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Casper Haström kicked well hit freekick during the 68th minute of the match. When Sture Stenquist came up free with the goalie in the 70th minute, the BK Slangen fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Sture Stenquist couldn't finish the play. Claes Tingelholm showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Pelle Bengtsson in the 74th minute of the match. If Pelle Bengtsson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 75th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 79 minutes into the match, Sture Stenquist notched a goal, 3-0, to the right of Grillby's Claes Tingelholm. Claes Tingelholm was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. BK Slangen's Pelle Bengtsson got a good chance for a goal in the 83rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 85th minute, Sture Stenquist ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Claes Tingelholm was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-0. In the 90th minute, Sture Stenquist got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 91 minutes into the match, Pelle Bengtsson had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Claes Tingelholm. Grillby's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Pelle Bengtsson was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 5-0. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. BK Slangen had played much better football throughout.
