An unexpectedly hard shot by Stig-Åke Finman in the 5th minute of play forced Ljusterö RK's goalkeeper Patrik Nyström to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Krister Dahlman's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Petter Bratt read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 14th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Rörvik RK's zone, Krister Dahlman stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Petter Bratt came out of the goal and Krister Dahlman tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Krister Dahlman had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 19th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Edward Arhenius's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Patrik Nyström read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 22nd minute of play. In the 26th minute Krister Dahlman shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Petter Bratt saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Edward Arhenius struck a weak shot in the 28th minute. Patrik Nyström didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Rörvik RK. Henric Axelsson placed the ball on the penalty spot and got himself ready to shoot. Post out! Petter Bratt came out of the goal in the 34th minute to try and stop a shot by Ljusterö RK's Torsten Göransson. But to his dismay, Torsten Göransson quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. After some fancy dribbling in the 45th minute, Stig-Åke Finman managed to get in a good position for a shot. Rörvik RK's supporters rose to their feet, but Stig-Åke Finman was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Patrik Nyström breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 46 minutes into the match, Rörvik RK's Edward Arhenius sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Patrik Nyström narrowly saved just below the crossbar. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Stig-Åke Finman in the 48th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Patrik Nyström saved Ljusterö RK from getting behind. The Rörvik RK players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Ljusterö RK were winning 0-1.

Torsten Göransson scored 0-2 in the 59th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Petter Bratt, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After having played for 65 minutes, Krister Dahlman managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ljusterö RK's supporters crossed their fingers, but Krister Dahlman was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Krister Dahlman had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 67th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Krister Dahlman sent away a hard shot on goal in the 72nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Krister Dahlman came up free with the goalie in the 96th minute, the Ljusterö RK fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Krister Dahlman couldn't finish the play.
