The tension between the J20 STARS and the Alunda IFK players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 35 played minutes J20 STARS got a freekick which was hit by Jarl Alén. In the 36th minute Vilhelm Hellbom shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bo Bokelund saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Karl-Ove Asklund fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 37th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bo Bokelund having to interfere. In the 39th match minute, J20 STARS was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Michel Stenman to maneuver through the defense. 42 minutes into the match, J20 STARS's goalkeeper Bo Bokelund had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Vilhelm Hellbom. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Vilhelm Hellbom to strike the kick off in the second half. Bo Bokelund showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Karl-Ove Asklund, who was totally free with the ball in the 55th minute. Bo Bokelund took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Vilhelm Hellbom, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Vilhelm Hellbom had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 69th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Zebastian Boberg's late challenge caught a J20 STARS's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Zebastian Boberg helped the player get up and apologised. Zebastian Boberg kicked well hit freekick during the 73rd minute of the match. J20 STARS's Jarl Alén got a good chance for a goal in the 74th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Karl-Ove Asklund received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 77th minute. Bo Bokelund tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Jarl Alén fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 80th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kent Alströmer having to interfere. If Roy Lundin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 81st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Bo Bokelund showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Karl-Ove Asklund, who was totally free with the ball in the 93rd minute.
