After 27 minutes of play, Björkvik IK's Zebastian Lindblom made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Patric Söderqwist was left in no man's land by his defense there! Jens Damm's late challenge caught a Björkvik IK's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Jens Damm helped the player get up and apologised. Björkvik IK's supporters rose to their feet, but Emil Lindberg was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Patric Söderqwist breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. A collision led to Nikanton FC getting a freekick after 36 minutes play. Sven-Arne Mårtensson hit a great ball. The Nikanton FC players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Björkvik IK were winning 0-2.

Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Emil Lindberg in the 55th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Patric Söderqwist prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When Anders Waller fell near the penalty area in the 55th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Nikanton FC's protests and gave Anders Waller a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Nikanton FC getting a freekick after 55 minutes play. Anders Waller hit a great ball. After 57 played minutes Björkvik IK got a freekick which was hit by Stellan Johansson. Nikanton FC's Sven-Arne Mårtensson couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 58th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Björkvik IK. After 70 played minutes Nikanton FC got a freekick which was hit by Anders Waller. If Zebastian Lindblom had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 72nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 73rd minute Emil Lindberg shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Patric Söderqwist saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A well placed Emil Lindberg short distance shot in the 75th minute ended with a hard ball which without a chance for the goalkeeper went staright up into the goalkeepers left cross. In the 80th minute Bertil Björnsson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Per Olenberg saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 82nd minute, Bertil Björnsson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Nikanton FC's Patric Söderqwist played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Emil Lindberg in the 83rd minute of play. Vidar Johnsson hit a great freekick 87 minutes into the match. The supporters of Björkvik IK booed when Nikanton FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 93 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sven-Arne Mårtensson didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 94th minute, Börje Siggman got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The supporters of Björkvik IK booed when Nikanton FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 95 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bengt-Åke Ugla didn't get a good kick on the ball. Zebastian Lindblom could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 97th minute of the match, but Patric Söderqwist made a huge save. Björkvik IK played a much better game than Nikanton FC and deserved their victory. The Nikanton FC players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
