Spectators: 7321 (Terracing: 5492, Seating: 1684, VIP seats: 145) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Anders Persson kicked off to start the match. Holger Ström took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Peter Målare, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Holger Ström showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Peter Målare, who was totally free with the ball in the 6th minute. Ljungskile IFK's Kaj Lilja played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alf Qvarnström in the 8th minute of play. Holger Ström made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ove Stenqvist in the 12th minute of play. The supporters of Sörberge IK booed when Ljungskile IFK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 14 match minutes in a wonderful position. Calle Tunström didn't get a good kick on the ball. 18 minutes into the game, Ove Stenqvist cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Holger Ström was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Holger Ström showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Anders Persson in the 21st minute of the match. Kaj Lilja was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 26th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Wiktor Ström. Sörberge IK's Holger Ström played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ove Stenqvist in the 30th minute of play. After 32 minutes of play, Sörberge IK's Jimmie Jernberg made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. In the 40th minute Jon Stensson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Holger Ström saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 42nd minute, Ove Stenqvist made a precise shot to the right of Holger Ström. Sörberge IK's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-2. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Anders Persson in the 52ndth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Holger Ström, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Holger Ström was out of position in the 53 minute of play, and Anders Persson capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Anders Persson really showed his touch with that goal: 1-3. 70 minutes into the match, Anders Persson had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Holger Ström. Sörberge IK's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Anders Persson was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-4. 73 minutes into the match, Sörberge IK's goalkeeper Holger Ström had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Jon Stensson. Anders Persson struck a weak shot in the 74th minute. Holger Ström didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ljungskile IFK. When Anders Persson came up free with the goalie in the 76th minute, the Ljungskile IFK fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Anders Persson couldn't finish the play. After some fancy dribbling in the 77th minute, Calle Tunström managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ljungskile IFK's supporters rose to their feet, but Calle Tunström was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Holger Ström breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Thanks to some nice moves Peter Målare could shoot a difficult shot in the 80th minute, which Holger Ström however easily saved by the left post. Holger Ström didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Jon Stensson went, in the 84th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-6 was the resulting score. Jon Stensson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 89th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Holger Ström having to interfere. Anders Persson recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 90th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After some careless play in the Sörberge IK defense, Peter Målare kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Holger Ström. The Sörberge IK fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Holger Ström should have stopped the shot. Ljungskile IFK played a much better game than Sörberge IK and deserved their victory. The Sörberge IK players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
