Spectators: 7231 (Terracing: 5425, Seating: 1663, VIP seats: 143) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Johnny Frykberg got the match started through his kick off. 5 minutes into the match, Casper Ek had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Matthias Sundin. FC Spaten's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Casper Ek was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. Johnny Frykberg scored 0-2 in the 8th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Matthias Sundin, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 17 minutes into the match, Leonardo Hurtig had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Matthias Sundin. FC Spaten's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Leonardo Hurtig was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-3. In the 21st minute, Sten Sjöman reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Kim Vall. The goal made the score 1-3. 27 minutes into the match, FC Spaten's goal looked a bit too open when Leonardo Hurtig came free, but Matthias Sundin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Johnny Frykberg fell near the penalty area in the 28th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Vänge's protests and gave Johnny Frykberg a yellow card for diving instead. After 29 played minutes Vänge got a freekick which was hit by Johnny Frykberg. Oliver Löv kicked well hit freekick during the 30th minute of the match. Matthias Sundin came out of the goal in the 35th minute to try and stop a shot by Vänge's Casper Ek. But to his dismay, Casper Ek quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-4. In the 39th minute, Casper Ek hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 42nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Vänge's goalkeeper Kim Vall, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 45th minute, Johnny Frykberg made a precise shot to the right of Matthias Sundin. FC Spaten's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-5. The FC Spaten players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Vänge were winning 1-5.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Sten Sjöman to make the kick off. Matthias Sundin made an important save on a dangerous shot by Leonardo Hurtig in the 52nd minute. 58 minutes into the match, FC Spaten's goal looked a bit too open when Johnny Frykberg came free, but Matthias Sundin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The crowd rose to their feet as Christer Wennerberg kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Matthias Sundin. That made the score 1-6 in the 63 minute of play. Kim Vall showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Johannes Almkvist in the 67th minute of the match. In the 73rd minute, Sten Sjöman got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Leonardo Hurtig came free with the goalkeeper in the 80th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Matthias Sundin could save by the left post. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sten Sjöman in the 82nd minute of play forced Vänge's goalkeeper Kim Vall to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The throw-in from Casper Apelkvist in the 89th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by FC Spaten's Arvid Helberg. Oliver Hellström hit a great freekick 94 minutes into the match. Leonardo Hurtig could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 97th minute of the match, but Matthias Sundin made a huge save. The FC Spaten manager could be seen shouting at his players as they walked down the tunnel after the match. He was clearly angry that they had squandered their superior possession, allowing Vänge to win.
