Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Hjärtat's Joakim Busk started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. An unexpectedly hard shot by Philip Liljeström in the 3rd minute of play forced Vaxmora Boys's goalkeeper Ragnar Kruse to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Per-Olof Ahlgren sent away a hard shot on goal in the 10th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 17 minutes into the match, Vaxmora Boys's goal looked a bit too open when Henning Forsberg came free, but Ragnar Kruse reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ragnar Kruse made an important save on a dangerous shot by Joakim Busk in the 24th minute. In the 26th minute, Henning Forsberg reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Ragnar Kruse. The goal made the score 1-0. 32 minutes into the match, Henning Forsberg dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Ragnar Kruse, 2-0. Joakim Busk could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 37th minute of the match, but Ragnar Kruse made a huge save. Petter Pihlwall showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Torbjörn Eklund in the 40th minute of the match. Joakim Busk received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 42nd minute. Ragnar Kruse tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Per-Olof Ahlgren fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Petter Pihlwall having to interfere.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Per-Olof Ahlgren to make the kick off. A collision led to Vaxmora Boys getting a freekick after 51 minutes play. Peter Bryngelsson hit a great ball. Ragnar Kruse took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Joakim Busk, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Per-Olof Ahlgren fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 59th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Petter Pihlwall having to interfere. In the 63rd minute, Per-Olof Ahlgren got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Ragnar Kruse showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Joakim Busk, who was totally free with the ball in the 65th minute. If Per-Olof Ahlgren had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 66th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 75 minutes into the game, Henning Forsberg cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-0. Ragnar Kruse was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 78th minute, Henning Forsberg got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When Joakim Busk came up free with the goalie in the 80th minute, the Hjärtat fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Joakim Busk couldn't finish the play. Torbjörn Eklund took the ball and in the 82 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Petter Pihlwall. Petter Pihlwall dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-1. Torbjörn Eklund's late challenge caught a Hjärtat's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Torbjörn Eklund helped the player get up and apologised. Torbjörn Eklund kicked well hit freekick during the 90th minute of the match. Ragnar Kruse showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Henning Forsberg in the 91st minute of the match. Per-Olof Godholm took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 93rd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Petter Pihlwall. Hjärtat's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. When the referee blew the final whistle, Hjärtat could leave the field as winners, despite Vaxmora Boys having more of the ball for most of the match.
