Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Sven-Erik Stenman kicked off to start the match. After 5 played minutes Mellbystrand FF got a freekick which was hit by Samuel Lundin. In the 6th minute, Stig Andberg sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Mellbystrand FF's Ivar Falk didn't even have to move. Thomas Magnusson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 8th minute. Ivar Falk tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Patrik Forsberg's late challenge caught a Jimmies Soldater's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Patrik Forsberg helped the player get up and apologised. Patrik Forsberg hit a great freekick 13 minutes into the match. After 14 played minutes, Jimmies Soldater's Stig Andberg shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Ivar Falk came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Jimmies Soldater reached it. Michael Thorsberg struck a weak shot in the 21st minute. David Häll didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Mellbystrand FF. Bernt Ekenberg hit a great freekick 22 minutes into the match. David Häll was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Sven-Erik Stenman showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-0 in the 24 minute of play. David Häll made a fantastic save in the 34th minute, when Michael Thorsberg sent off a good shot on target. The crowd rose to their feet as Sven-Erik Stenman kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving David Häll. That made the score 2-0 in the 36 minute of play. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-0 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Conny Wiberg to strike the kick off in the second half. After some fancy dribbling in the 54th minute, Michael Thorsberg managed to get in a good position for a shot. Mellbystrand FF's supporters rose to their feet, but Michael Thorsberg was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. David Häll breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Michael Thorsberg had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 56th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Tobias Erserman charged in rather forcefully in the 59th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Tobias Erserman the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 59 played minutes Jimmies Soldater got a freekick which was hit by Tobias Erserman. 60 minutes into the match, Mellbystrand FF's Jarl Dalström broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. If Thomas Magnusson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 63rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, Mellbystrand FF's Lars Alefors got a free kick in the 67th minute. In the 71st minute, Sven-Erik Stenman ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. David Häll was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-0. The audience was convinced that Sven-Erik Stenman's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but David Häll was relentless in the 77th minute of the game. After a rather tough play, Jimmies Soldater's Tobias Erserman got a free kick in the 77th minute. Michael Thorsberg scored 5-0 in the 78th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of David Häll, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Sven-Erik Stenman fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 82nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without David Häll having to interfere. In the 85th minute, Albert Bredberg hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Sven-Erik Stenman in the 94th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg David Häll saved Jimmies Soldater from getting behind. In the 97th minute, Samuel Lundin hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Stig Andberg, 98 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Mellbystrand FF walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
