Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Erik Borre stood somewhat misplaced when Michael Mellin came free in front of goal and shot 1-0 to the left of him in the 3 minute. Ärla's Michael Mellin got a good chance for a goal in the 6th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Sune Sundling sent away a hard shot on goal in the 11th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After having played for 13 minutes, Sune Sundling managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Tollered's supporters crossed their fingers, but Sune Sundling was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The supporters of Tollered booed when Ärla was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 15 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ove Vase didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Michael Mellin in the 19th minute of play forced Tollered's goalkeeper Erik Borre to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Erik Borre took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Michael Mellin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ove Vase recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 24th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Ove Vase received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 26th minute. Erik Borre tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 27th minute Sune Sundling shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tim Hägglund saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Sune Sundling blasted a shot towards the goal in the 35th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Tim Hägglund having to make a save. In the 37th play minute Ove Vase came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Erik Borre. 2-0. Erik Borre made a fantastic save in the 43rd minute, when Ove Vase sent off a good shot on target. If Michael Mellin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 48 minutes into the game, Michael Mellin recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Erik Borre. Michael Mellin showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 3-0. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Michael Mellin to make the kick off. Michael Mellin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 54th minute. Erik Borre tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Ove Vase came up free with the goalie in the 57th minute, the Ärla fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ove Vase couldn't finish the play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Michael Mellin in the 64th minute of play forced Tollered's goalkeeper Erik Borre to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Michael Mellin struck a weak shot in the 65th minute. Erik Borre didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ärla. If Ove Vase had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 69th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Sune Sundling received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 72nd minute. Tim Hägglund tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ove Vase fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 74th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Erik Borre having to interfere. Michael Mellin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 77th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Erik Borre having to interfere. Erik Borre showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Michael Mellin, who was totally free with the ball in the 88th minute. Ove Vase struck a weak shot in the 90th minute. Erik Borre didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ärla. 91 minutes into the game, Elof Sundberg was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Ärla's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Tollered the free kick. In the 91st match minute, Ärla was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Elof Sundberg to maneuver through the defense. When Sune Sundling came up free with the goalie in the 95th minute, the Tollered fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Sune Sundling couldn't finish the play. Sune Sundling fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 98th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tim Hägglund having to interfere. Ärla's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
