Sune Odin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ingemar Wassenius in the 11th minute of the match. Sune Odin stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Ingemar Wassenius's shot from short distance in the 15th minute. Sämst i skåne's Sune Odin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Egil Wennerquist in the 16th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Sämst i skåne's zone, Ingemar Wassenius stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Sune Odin came out of the goal and Ingemar Wassenius tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Gert Colin hit a great freekick 19 minutes into the match. Ingemar Wassenius fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 26th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sune Odin having to interfere. Alejandro Franco took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 37th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Sune Odin. Sämst i skåne's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Uno Abelsson charged in rather forcefully in the 38th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Uno Abelsson the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 38th minute, Uno Abelsson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Knut Hansson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 42nd minute. Reynaldo Naelio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 43 played minutes Muppin FC got a freekick which was hit by Ian Hultin. With an all-out effort, Sämst i skåne's Reynaldo Naelio threw himself towards the right post 46 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Knut Hansson, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The wind increased when Ingemar Wassenius made the kick off in the second half. Sämst i skåne's Sune Odin proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 51st minute of the match, managed to save Sämst i skåne from getting a goal against them. Georg Vibjörnsson kicked well hit freekick during the 52nd minute of the match. In the 54th match minute, Muppin FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jacinto Laurendi to maneuver through the defense. Knut Hansson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 56th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 58 minutes, Vidar Lindholm mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Muppin FC and the Sämst i skåne players grew even worse after the yellow card. Sune Odin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ingemar Wassenius, who was totally free with the ball in the 65th minute. After having played for 67 minutes, Knut Hansson managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Sämst i skåne's supporters crossed their fingers, but Knut Hansson was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ian Hultin got free with Sune Odin in the 77th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 81st minute of the game Georg Vibjörnsson made a throw-in which Gert Colin played forward. Knut Hansson hit a great freekick 83 minutes into the match. Muppin FC were disappointed that they only managed a draw, even though they felt themselves to be the better team.
