The audience was convinced that Henry Elg's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Björn Arvidsson was relentless in the 9th minute of the game. Thor Kjellberg blasted a shot towards the goal in the 14th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Björn Arvidsson having to make a save. Thor Kjellberg sent away a hard shot on goal in the 16th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Nils-Emil Löfdahl took the ball and in the 19 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Torgny Nordkvist. Torgny Nordkvist dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Mikael Brolin hit a great freekick 24 minutes into the match. Sverker Vollander took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 25th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Björn Arvidsson. Koffboys Änglar's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Marcus Viklund recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 31st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Marcus Viklund fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 33rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Torgny Nordkvist having to interfere. In the 37th minute the ball was on its way in behind Österfärnebo's goalkeeper Torgny Nordkvist, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Börje Stephansson might have been able to make a better finish in the 40th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Björn Arvidsson. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Börje Stephansson ran back to his position shaking his head. Sven-Arne Vallander's late challenge caught a Österfärnebo's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Sven-Arne Vallander helped the player get up and apologised. 45 minutes into the match, Agne Bergfelt had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Björn Arvidsson. Koffboys Änglar's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Agne Bergfelt was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Nils-Emil Löfdahl was the one to do the kick off. Thor Kjellberg recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 51st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Börje Stephansson scored 2-1 in the 62nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Björn Arvidsson, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Thor Kjellberg received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 72nd minute. Björn Arvidsson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 75 played minutes, Österfärnebo's Sverker Vollander shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Björn Arvidsson came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Österfärnebo reached it. When Thor Kjellberg came up free with the goalie in the 77th minute, the Österfärnebo fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Thor Kjellberg couldn't finish the play. A collision led to Österfärnebo getting a freekick after 78 minutes play. Ted Tingberg hit a great ball. Gustaf Lindberg was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 81 minutes into the match. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 81st minute of the game. One of Österfärnebo:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Koffboys Änglar:s goal. The referee gave Koffboys Änglar a penalty, 83 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Fredrik Hurtig, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Österfärnebo's Torgny Nordkvist. 2-2. After a defensive mix-up in Österfärnebo's zone, Nils-Emil Löfdahl stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Torgny Nordkvist came out of the goal and Nils-Emil Löfdahl tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 96th minute of the match Fredrik Hurtig shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Torgny Nordkvist showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. In the 99th minute, Koffboys Änglar's Marcus Viklund ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Torgny Nordkvist. Torgny Nordkvist yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-3. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Koffboys Änglar eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
