Spectators: 7252 (Terracing: 5440, Seating: 1668, VIP seats: 144) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Torsten Wallgren started the match with the kick off. If Torsten Wallgren had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 11th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 12th minute, Sven Tunberg hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Rolf Vidman took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Karl-Ove Dahlqvist, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 23rd minute Torsten Wallgren shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Allan Wennerberg saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Elof Collin came up free with the goalie in the 25th minute, the Wheelbridge Pioneers fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Elof Collin couldn't finish the play. The supporters of Wheelbridge Pioneers booed when Ängelholm was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 26 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ludwig Granberg didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 28th minute Mats Martinsson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Allan Wennerberg saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Rolf Vidman made an important save on a dangerous shot by Elof Collin in the 29th minute. Wheelbridge Pioneers's Karl-Ove Dahlqvist got a good chance for a goal in the 31st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Karl-Ove Dahlqvist in the 33rd minute of play forced Ängelholm's goalkeeper Rolf Vidman to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to Ängelholm getting a freekick after 34 minutes play. Robin Billvall hit a great ball. If Karl-Ove Dahlqvist had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ängelholm's Rolf Vidman proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 47th minute of the match, managed to save Ängelholm from getting a goal against them. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Karl-Ove Dahlqvist made a kick off. Mats Martinsson recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 52nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Wheelbridge Pioneers's Allan Wennerberg played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Torsten Wallgren in the 59th minute of play. After 61st play minutes Mats Martinsson shot 0-2, a short shot which went by Allan Wennerberg and just under the crossbar into goal. Karl-Ove Dahlqvist recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 67th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Torsten Wallgren fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 70th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Allan Wennerberg having to interfere. Elof Collin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 82nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rolf Vidman having to interfere. Karl-Ove Dahlqvist received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 84th minute. Rolf Vidman tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Torsten Wallgren had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Elof Collin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 94th minute. Rolf Vidman tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The Wheelbridge Pioneers supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Ängelholm's performance. The match ended with a win for Ängelholm.
