When the match had gone on for 35 minutes, Nicanor Rafel put it in 0-1 from a short distance just to the right of Mikael Haeger. After 46 minutes, Dag Samuelsson mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Teckomatorp IF and the Jannaskaro BK players grew even worse after the yellow card. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 45th minute of the game. One of Teckomatorp IF:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Jannaskaro BK:s goal. Viktor Lindelöf walked up to take care of the penalty kick. He was aiming for the top corner, but the ball went just outside the post. The Teckomatorp IF players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Jannaskaro BK were winning 0-1.

The wind increased when Nicanor Rafel made the kick off in the second half. If Nicanor Rafel had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 52nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Björn Vallman struck a weak shot in the 55th minute. Mikael Haeger didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Jannaskaro BK. Douglas Linquist blasted a shot towards the goal in the 58th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Mikael Haeger having to make a save. With a little luck, Teckomatorp IF's Mikael Haeger got control of the ball when Douglas Linquist tried to sneak it across the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Douglas Linquist got free with Mikael Haeger in the 79th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Mikael Haeger made a fantastic save in the 84th minute, when Nicanor Rafel sent off a good shot on target. After 85 minutes Teckomatorp IF's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Viktor Lindelöf who took care of the corner kick. Jannaskaro BK's Viktor Lindelöf was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Mikael Haeger in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Nils Hansson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 92nd minute. Tom Björkdahl tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Tom Björkdahl took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ove Tingelholm, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 98 minutes into the match, Jannaskaro BK's Nicanor Rafel sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Mikael Haeger narrowly saved just below the crossbar. When the match was over Jannaskaro BK could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Teckomatorp IF throughout the match.
