Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Erik Sjöberg got the match started through his kick off. After 9 played minutes Väring FF got a freekick which was hit by Greger Elg. August Viklund's late challenge caught a FC Salkin's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. August Viklund helped the player get up and apologised. In the 10th match minute, Väring FF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by August Viklund to maneuver through the defense. Erik Sjöberg was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 16th minute. Väring FF's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Erik Sjöberg in the 21st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Roger Lundin prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After a rather tough play, FC Salkin's Ralf Willig got a free kick in the 21st minute. Roger Lundin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Erik Sjöberg in the 23rd minute of the match. Marcus Fristedt recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 24th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. August Viklund might have been able to make a better finish in the 31st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Roger Lundin. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. August Viklund ran back to his position shaking his head. An unexpectedly hard shot by Erik Sjöberg in the 33rd minute of play forced FC Salkin's goalkeeper Roger Lundin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Erik Sjöberg received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 35th minute. Roger Lundin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. FC Salkin's Roger Lundin proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 40th minute of the match, managed to save FC Salkin from getting a goal against them. Stig-Åke Kjellqvist sent away a hard shot on goal in the 43rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Erik Sjöberg recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 45th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Magne Juhlin to strike the kick off in the second half. If August Viklund had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 56th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Erik Sjöberg recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 58th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Bo Beckeman made a fantastic save in the 61st minute, when Marcus Fristedt sent off a good shot on target. After having played for 64 minutes, Erik Sjöberg managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Väring FF's supporters crossed their fingers, but Erik Sjöberg was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 65 minutes, Ralf Willig mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the FC Salkin and the Väring FF players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 65 played minutes FC Salkin got a freekick which was hit by Ralf Willig. Marcus Fristedt sent away a hard shot on goal in the 67th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 70 minutes, Ernst Haeger mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the FC Salkin and the Väring FF players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, FC Salkin's Ernst Haeger got a free kick in the 70th minute. Stig-Åke Kjellqvist sent away a hard shot on goal in the 71st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Erik Sjöberg came up free with the goalie in the 73rd minute, the Väring FF fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Erik Sjöberg couldn't finish the play. A collision led to FC Salkin getting a freekick after 74 minutes play. Max Eklund hit a great ball. Stig-Åke Kjellqvist sent away a hard shot on goal in the 77th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 78th minute Erik Sjöberg shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Roger Lundin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Nicklas Kvist during the 82nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of FC Salkin booed when Väring FF was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 83 match minutes in a wonderful position. Nicklas Kvist didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 86th match minute, Väring FF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dick Harman to maneuver through the defense. Magne Juhlin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 87th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bo Beckeman having to interfere. Roger Lundin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Erik Sjöberg, who was totally free with the ball in the 89th minute. FC Salkin's Magne Juhlin got a good chance for a goal in the 92nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Väring FF were clearly unhappy with the draw, as they felt they had done enough to earn themselves a victory.
