Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Vilhelm Finsberg in the 15th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Kåre Hellström prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 16 minutes into the match, Aston Villa FC's goal looked a bit too open when Karl-Michael Dahlkvist came free, but Kåre Hellström reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Eric Collin kicked well hit freekick during the 17th minute of the match. The crowd rose to their feet as Peter Blom kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Hugo Wallander. That made the score 1-0 in the 28 minute of play. Kåre Hellström took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Vilhelm Finsberg, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The audience was convinced that Vilhelm Finsberg's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Kåre Hellström was relentless in the 35th minute of the game. After a defensive mix-up in Aston Villa FC's zone, Vilhelm Finsberg stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Kåre Hellström came out of the goal and Vilhelm Finsberg tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 39th minute, Karl-Michael Dahlkvist ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Kåre Hellström was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. If Karl-Michael Dahlkvist had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 43rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Edwin Giliusson kicked well hit freekick during the 44th minute of the match. Kåre Hellström didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Karl-Michael Dahlkvist went, in the 46th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-2 was the resulting score. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-2.

Karl-Michael Dahlkvist received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 52nd minute. Kåre Hellström tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Vilhelm Finsberg sent away a hard shot on goal in the 58th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Karl-Michael Dahlkvist fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 60th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kåre Hellström having to interfere. After some careless play in the Aston Villa FC defense, Vilhelm Finsberg kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Kåre Hellström. The Aston Villa FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Kåre Hellström should have stopped the shot. The supporters of Bullmark booed when Aston Villa FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 69 match minutes in a wonderful position. Matthias Trulsson didn't get a good kick on the ball. 72 minutes in the game, the ball went up into the seats when Bullmark's Karl-Michael Dahlkvist fired away a shot that was just a little bit too high. He walked away shaking his head. Peter Lindström received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 73rd minute. Kåre Hellström tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Kåre Nordmark hit a great freekick 74 minutes into the match. Karl-Michael Dahlkvist fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 76th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kåre Hellström having to interfere. In the 87th minute Peter Blom shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hugo Wallander saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Kåre Hellström made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Karl-Michael Dahlkvist in the 89th minute of play. Edwin Giliusson recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 96th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When the final whistle sounded Bullmark left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Aston Villa FC.
