Christer Blomqvist tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 13th minute the ball was on its way in behind Stampens BK's goalkeeper Christer Blomqvist, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sigvard Ekblom in the 14th minute of play forced Stampens BK's goalkeeper Christer Blomqvist to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Sigvard Ekblom had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 15th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. If Sixten Axelsson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 17th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 18 minutes, Ulf Uter mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Stampens BK and the Bohult BK players grew even worse after the yellow card. Ulf Uter kicked well hit freekick during the 18th minute of the match. Sixten Axelsson's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Christer Blomqvist read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 26th minute of play. In the 29th minute there was a penalty for Bohult BK. Ernst Bas stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Christer Blomqvist. 0-1. After a defensive mix-up in Stampens BK's zone, Sixten Axelsson stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Christer Blomqvist came out of the goal and Sixten Axelsson tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Christer Blomqvist showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sixten Axelsson in the 36th minute of the match. Sigvard Ekblom received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 42nd minute. Christer Blomqvist didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Bohult BK. The supporters of Bohult BK booed when Stampens BK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 47 match minutes in a wonderful position. Joachim Offendahl didn't get a good kick on the ball. 48 minutes into the match, Bohult BK's Ernst Bas broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. After the first half Bohult BK were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Sigvard Ekblom made a kick off. In the 54th minute, Sigvard Ekblom got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 56th minute of the match, Sixten Axelsson got a very nice opportunity to score, but Christer Blomqvist was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. After 61 minutes, Sixten Axelsson made it 0-2 with a short kick to the right side. Stampens BK's Christer Blomqvist tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Ivar Svanström might have been able to make a better finish in the 64th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Bror Vestlund. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Ivar Svanström ran back to his position shaking his head. Christer Blomqvist showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sigvard Ekblom, who was totally free with the ball in the 67th minute. Peter Byström sent away a hard shot on goal in the 69th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Sigvard Ekblom had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 71st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jörn Jönsson kicked well hit freekick during the 76th minute of the match. Christer Blomqvist took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Johannes Forsberg, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Peter Byström fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 82nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bror Vestlund having to interfere. 87 minutes into the match, Bohult BK's goal looked a bit too open when Ivar Svanström came free, but Bror Vestlund reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 89th minute Peter Byström shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bror Vestlund saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Sigvard Ekblom fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Christer Blomqvist having to interfere. A collision led to Bohult BK getting a freekick after 95 minutes play. Jörn Jönsson hit a great ball. Christer Blomqvist showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sigvard Ekblom, who was totally free with the ball in the 98th minute. Bohult BK's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
