Spectators: 7343 (Terracing: 5509, Seating: 1689, VIP seats: 145) FC Gizmo's Manfred Käller started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 4th minute, FC Gizmo's Manfred Käller ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Åke Josefsson. Åke Josefsson yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. Torgny Löfskog kicked well hit freekick during the 16th minute of the match. Axel Wassenius made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Joar Broberg in the 17th minute of play. Jon Alebeck fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 23rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Åke Josefsson having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Jon Alebeck got free with Åke Josefsson in the 28th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After some careless play in the FC Gizmo defense, Bo-Erik Ahlquist kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Axel Wassenius. The FC Gizmo fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Axel Wassenius should have stopped the shot. Norrby IFK's Joar Broberg suffered a sore thigh after 43 minutes and couldn't finish the game. 43 minutes into the game, Conny Ståhlman was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. FC Gizmo's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Norrby IFK the free kick. Conny Ståhlman hit a great freekick 44 minutes into the match. Claes Bergvall, 45 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal.

Niclas Hultin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 55th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Axel Wassenius having to interfere. FC Gizmo's Axel Wassenius played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bo-Erik Ahlquist in the 57th minute of play. The FC Gizmo fans' excitement grew in the 73rd match minute when FC Gizmo's Manfred Käller looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 2-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. In the 87th match minute, FC Gizmo was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Egil Rosendahl to maneuver through the defense. Bo-Erik Ahlquist sent away a hard shot on goal in the 90th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After recieving a nice pass, Norrby IFK's Claes Bergvall tried to score from far away in the 94th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. FC Gizmo's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
