Jönåker FK's Lars Nordkvist proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 13th minute of the match, managed to save Jönåker FK from getting a goal against them. Fredric Säfström fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 17th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Albin Hagberg having to interfere. Jönåker FK's Malcolm Brun got a good chance for a goal in the 19th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Lars Nordkvist was out of position in the 21 minute of play, and Gustav Holmberg capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Lars Nordkvist made a fantastic save in the 25th minute, when Åke Mossberg sent off a good shot on target. 31 minutes into the match, Timo Werner had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Lars Nordkvist. Jönåker FK's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Timo Werner was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-0. Nävekvarn RK's Gustav Holmberg managed to work through Jönåker FK's defense and was going for an easy goal, but he hit the shot with his toe and the ball flew outside the goal. Gustav Holmberg dejectedly held out his arms as if to ask why the ball hadn't gone in. Lars Nordkvist made a fantastic save in the 38th minute, when Timo Werner sent off a good shot on target.

The supporters of Jönåker FK booed when Nävekvarn RK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 54 match minutes in a wonderful position. Emil Odman didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 60th minute, Gustav Holmberg got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Jens-Ola Högberg's late challenge caught a Nävekvarn RK's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Jens-Ola Högberg helped the player get up and apologised. In the 61st minute, Jens-Ola Högberg hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Nävekvarn RK's Timo Werner in the 62nd minute got a chance for a shot 62nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. An unexpectedly hard shot by Åke Mossberg in the 94th minute of play forced Jönåker FK's goalkeeper Lars Nordkvist to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Lars Nordkvist took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Timo Werner, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When the referee ended the match the Nävekvarn RK players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
