Hammarbibajen's Johan Heggert got a good chance for a goal in the 30th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Herman Simonsson to strike the kick off in the second half. SpVgg Sauerkraut's Jan-Olof Örtendal played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Johan Heggert in the 53rd minute of play. In the 55th minute David Asplund shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Simon Sundberg saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 57th match minute, SpVgg Sauerkraut was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tord Almkvist to maneuver through the defense. The supporters of Hammarbibajen booed when SpVgg Sauerkraut was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 59 match minutes in a wonderful position. David Asplund didn't get a good kick on the ball. Jan-Olof Örtendal showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Johan Heggert, who was totally free with the ball in the 83rd minute. 93 minutes into the match, SpVgg Sauerkraut's goal looked a bit too open when Johan Heggert came free, but Jan-Olof Örtendal reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Jan-Olof Örtendal showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Herman Simonsson in the 94th minute of the match. In the 94th match minute, SpVgg Sauerkraut was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alvin Örn to maneuver through the defense. Jan-Olof Örtendal took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Johan Heggert, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Hammarbibajen were disappointed that they only managed a draw, even though they felt themselves to be the better team.
