The Köpingsvik IK fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Casper Knutsson should have stopped the shot. After a rather tough play, Dirty Ds Idrottsförening's Ivar Billvall got a free kick in the 10th minute. Jens-Ove Eriksson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 12th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Casper Knutsson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Karl Dahlbom in the 16th minute of play. Karl Dahlbom fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 17th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Casper Knutsson having to interfere. Köpingsvik IK's Casper Knutsson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sven-Erik Ahlén in the 19th minute of play. Köpingsvik IK's defense didn't have a chance, in the 22nd minute, when Rickard Hägglund scored to the left of an out of position Casper Knutsson, making the score, 2-0. With a little luck, Köpingsvik IK's Casper Knutsson got control of the ball when Erland Brander tried to sneak it across the goal line. Mikael Björkkvist's late challenge caught a Dirty Ds Idrottsförening's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Mikael Björkkvist helped the player get up and apologised. In the 33rd match minute, Köpingsvik IK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mikael Björkkvist to maneuver through the defense. 34 minutes into the match, Dirty Ds Idrottsförening's Folke Klack broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. With an all-out effort, Dirty Ds Idrottsförening's Casper Knutsson threw himself towards the right post 36 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Ivar Billvall, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. The audience thought a goal was coming when Folke Klack got free with Casper Knutsson in the 38th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Melker Grubb showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Torbjörn Hägg in the 39th minute of the match. In the 41st minute Sven-Erik Ahlén shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Casper Knutsson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 43 minutes into the match, Köpingsvik IK's goal looked a bit too open when Sven-Erik Ahlén came free, but Casper Knutsson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The referee ignored Dirty Ds Idrottsförening's protests and gave Folke Klack a yellow card for diving instead. Melker Grubb went to the wrong direction when Jens-Ove Eriksson was taking care of the penalty kick which however missed the goal. Melker Grubb showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Torbjörn Hägg, who was totally free with the ball in the 75th minute. If Jens-Ove Eriksson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 77th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of Köpingsvik IK booed when Dirty Ds Idrottsförening was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 93 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rickard Hägglund didn't get a good kick on the ball. 95 minutes into the game, Sven-Erik Ahlén was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Dirty Ds Idrottsförening's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Köpingsvik IK the free kick. After 95 played minutes Dirty Ds Idrottsförening got a freekick which was hit by Sven-Erik Ahlén.
