After a rather tough play, BK Röva's Dag Hedlund got a free kick in the 14th minute. After a defensive mix-up in BK Röva's zone, Jens-Erik Kjellberg stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Greger Gregersson came out of the goal and Jens-Erik Kjellberg tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Jens-Erik Kjellberg scored 0-1 in the 44th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Greger Gregersson, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The BK Röva players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Carolus Rex were winning 0-1.

The wind increased when Sebastian Hedlund made the kick off in the second half.
