Otto Brummer's late challenge caught a Skälvik RK's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Otto Brummer helped the player get up and apologised. Otto Brummer kicked well hit freekick during the 6th minute of the match. 12 minutes into the match, IFK Red Bull's goal looked a bit too open when Örjan Falkrans came free, but Ian Skoglund reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Filiph Pihlberg fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 14th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lucas Hegg having to interfere. Lucas Hegg came out of the goal in the 18th minute to try and stop a shot by IFK Red Bull's Filiph Pihlberg. But to his dismay, Filiph Pihlberg quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. If Filiph Pihlberg had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 22nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 25th match minute, IFK Red Bull was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Henric Stenkvist to maneuver through the defense. Lucas Hegg showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rune Landin, who was totally free with the ball in the 29th minute. Filiph Pihlberg had several of the Skälvik RK's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 32 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 2-0 score and a disappointed Lucas Hegg as he didn't even see the shot coming. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Jon Björk during the 40th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Skälvik RK's Jon Björk got a free kick in the 40th minute. When Otto Brummer was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 43 minutes had been played. After 44 played minutes IFK Red Bull got a freekick which was hit by Otto Brummer. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Örjan Falkrans stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Henry Galle sent away a hard shot on goal in the 52nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Örjan Falkrans in the 54th minute of play forced IFK Red Bull's goalkeeper Ian Skoglund to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. IFK Red Bull's Rune Landin got a good chance for a goal in the 56th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Filiph Pihlberg had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 62nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jon Björk kicked well hit freekick during the 65th minute of the match. Filiph Pihlberg fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 67th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lucas Hegg having to interfere. In the 69th minute the ball was on its way in behind Skälvik RK's goalkeeper Lucas Hegg, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The supporters of IFK Red Bull booed when Skälvik RK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 80 match minutes in a wonderful position. Åke Odman didn't get a good kick on the ball. Johannes Björck struck a weak shot in the 82nd minute. Lucas Hegg didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for IFK Red Bull. Lucas Hegg showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Filiph Pihlberg, who was totally free with the ball in the 83rd minute. When Jon Björk was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 84 minutes had been played. Jon Björk kicked well hit freekick during the 84th minute of the match. Skälvik RK's Åke Odman got his second yellow card of the match in the 88th minute. The referee ordered Åke Odman off the ground. Filiph Pihlberg fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 93rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lucas Hegg having to interfere. When the referee ended the match the IFK Red Bull players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
